KBA helps the women create better lives for themselves, greatly impacting the lives of their families and strengthening the overall Kibera community.

The impact of our work can be seen in three broad areas:

Education and Skill Development: providing education and skills training to the women of Kibera, including literacy programs, vocational training, and workshops on various subjects like entrepreneurship, healthcare, and financial literacy.

Health and Well-being: Women’s health is crucial. KBA offers access to and education on healthcare services, family planning, reproductive health education, and awareness about hygiene and nutrition.

Economic Empowerment: Enabling women to become financially independent is a key goal. KBA creates opportunities for income generation, microfinance initiatives, and promoting women’s participation in the local economy.
